After wearing these grey XL shorts twice, I feel comfortable writing a detailed review for them. But first, here are my body details:Weight: approximately 195-196 lb.Height: 5 ft 4.75"Waist: 38"Lower belly (over the belly button): 40"Hips" 45.5"****I took an infinite amount of pics because different angles can make/break how the shorts look on someone's body type.***The material was so "tight," I thought it wouldn't fit. I was scared it would be an uncomfortable tight. But once I pulled it over my belly, I realized it wasn't bad at all. It felt like I was wearing a thin version of a waist cincher tbh. One of the immediate things I noticed is those dark arch markings didn't fall under my butt cheeks "naturally." Every time I put the shorts on, I had to yank the fabric up so that the markings would fall under my cheeks.... this helps give that illusion that your glutes are big (thanks to the shadow the marking produces). At least, that's my observation of it's purpose lol. So If I'm just throwing on the shorts and going about my business, the markings will rest on my hamstrings. I have to be aware to fix them after putting on the shorts, if that makes sense. Just a little bit more time consuming. In the pics I provided, I was wearing an all black lace cheekie underneath. I didn't expect it to show as much as it did. I took these pics after my workout and I was shocked to know it looked like this during my whole session!!! I'm not too surprised I see the texture of the lace. But I am more shocked about is, from my pics, it looks like I was wearing white or colored panties under. But i was wearing black! How weird!? Fortunately, I am not self-conscious about this so if my panties show a bit it's not the end of the world to me.Squat proof? - Not really. If you look at my pics you'll see me attempting to bend down into a squat (I would go too low under the mirror if I did a proper squat). But you'll see that the waist wants to roll down. I'm happy it doesn't roll down "a lot"... meaning, all the way down to my belly button or something. But it just rolls a bit that you feel it bunched up at your waist. During my workouts, I would try to pull it back up but after a couple of reps it would roll back down. This annoyed me a little when I was wearing that pink crop top. But the second time I wore these shorts, I wore it with a long lack top and I didn't care about the waist rolling.
