I love the look of these shorts (both in the photos and in person). The pale blue is a really pretty color. I showed a picture to my friend's 9th grade daughter and she said they look just like a pair she has from Lululemon, so these might be meant to be a dupe.The feel of the fabric is nice; very thin and lightweight, almost cool to the touch. As for the quality, there are quite a few loose threads and thread loops around the waistband; not noticeable unless you look closely but it's not a perfect stitching job and makes me wonder how well they will hold up.I like that there is a small zipper pocket; it's not big enough for a phone but could fit a credit card, ID, and/or car/house key if you are going for a run, kayaking, etc. I do like that these are a true mid-rise cut. The waist-band can be rolled once if you want them to be more low rise or tighter/shorter.Unfortunately the size and fit just didn't work for me. I ordered a medium and they fit more like a women's small or even an extra small. I didn't realize that these have a built-in liner like a pair of underwear. Maybe that's typical of athletic shorts but it wasn't comfortable on me and made the shorts fit weirder-- somehow too tight in places but saggy in others. If not for that inner liner, I would probably try ordering one size up.These are a decent pair of athletic shorts that might work for you if you don't mind (or if you prefer) the inner liner. However, you might want to size up if in between sizes (or be prepared to try a few different sizes to find what works best).
