So, I’m the dummy who didn’t read the description before buying these and I thought they were the same as the original Aurola leggings but just a new color range. I was wrong.Now that I’ve read the description, it makes more sense, and I want to explain to you the differences if you like the original Aurola leggings and are thinking about getting these but don’t know what to expect.1. The waistband has 2 horizontal rows of compression instead of 3 like the original Aurola leggings.2. The bum scrunch is thinner (only 4 stitching columns instead of 5 like the original. The shorts also have 4 stitching columns)3. The original Aurola leggings are a mixture of 54% Nylon, 34% Polyester, and 10% Spandex. These new ones are 90% Nylon and 10% Spandex, so they definitely feel different (they’re unbelievably soft!)4. The original Aurola leggings are much stretchier and have more give, whereas these are definitely more compressive and seem thicker (which could be a plus if you want leggings that hide more cellulite)5. The gusset in the crotch is much longer, meaning instead of only being a diamond in the crotch area, the ends actually extend down the inner thigh about 1/4 of the way down the thigh (depending on how tall you are. You can see the gusset down the thighs in the product pictures)My advice to you: maybe size up in these from whatever you wear in the original Aurola leggings. I am usually a small or medium depending on the leggings. The original Aurola leggings are very stretchy so I can very comfortably wear a small. I bought a small in these new ones and, while I can get them on, they’re a bit too compressive to be comfortable for a workout and I don’t trust them not to pop a seam somewhere. Also the waistband was constantly rolling down when I briefly tried them on because they are tighter than the originals.Final thoughts: the quality is awesome, as with all Aurola activewear, but I’m returning these and getting more of the original leggings because I prefer the stretchier, thinner, “second skin” feel. However, I’m still rating these 5 stars because they’re awesome and there’s nothing wrong with them, they’re just not my personal fit preference.I hope this helps someone out there!Ladiiiiies! The only downside is, this collection doesn’t fit like the last, so you will need to size up. For example, I have 6 pairs of medium. With this collection, the medium was SO TIGHT, couldn’t breathe. But I tried the large and boooyyyy it fits so perfectly and my butt jiggles like normal. Sooooo buttery soft!THESE ARE SO CUTE they genuinely fit so nicely but the colors are see through so be careful abt wearing them to the gym.These are thin but no so thin that they are see through. Squat proof and flattering. I’m 5’9 and 230lbs and these hug me without too tight of compressionEverything about these leggings is perfect. They’re soft as butter, the waist band is compressive but not uncomfortably tight, they smooth out cellulite, they’re squat proof, and most importantly they stay up! These just look and feel fantastic. The perfect alphalete dupe for 1/3 the priceDaughters love these!! They're the only leggings they will wear.I was skeptical at first because they are a little tighter( not in a bad way just feels like a second skin) but after wearing both pairs of leggings to the gym These are officially my favorite leggings. They sculpt the booty like no other, the waist band comes at a perfect height( I think they shortened it compared to their OG leggings) and for me a person who sweats a lot they are very sweat wicking/dries fast. I feel so snatched in these and they are very durable compared to the softer seamless ones due to the change in fabrics . I’ve truly never felt a legging like this and what impresses me more is I tried these on right after vacation and I was feeling very bloated and not great about my body after all but once I had these on they sculpted me and gave me that confidence!!! Still need to try out the shorts but I really really hope they come out with more colors !! Rip to my bank account lolI bought these because I love my other AUROLA leggings and biker shorts. I really like these because the material feels like a second skin and they are not super thick like the original leggings. I love that the band has 2 horizontal rows of compression instead of 3 so they don't go up as high. I wish the compression rows were lower so it would compress more of the lower stomach area. The butt scrunch is perfect, to me it's more flattering than the original leggings. They seem to fit very similar to the original leggings so I stayed with my original size. I'm exchanging the ones I bought because they had pilling in the stiching in the inside of the leg/thigh area and in the crotch area was already pulling apart from the stiching.For reference:Size: SmallHeight: 5'4Weight: 126The material is soft but see through :(
